ACT Wakeboard is committed to helping riders of all ages and abilities develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy more time on the water. Our Rider Development Program brings together coaching, social/free riding, specialist training and mentoring to help every rider take the next step in their wakeboarding journey.

  • 23 January 2027 – Specialist Coaching: Learn from Dean and Amber Smith at Hume Park, Good Hope (tentative).

Rider development pathway

Our development pathway is focussed on three ability groups: Rookie, Straight Air and Inverter. Rider development checklists will help identify strengths, track progress and highlight achievable next steps, while access to local coaching ensures you get quality instruction and guidence.  Whether you’re working towards your first wake-to-wake jump, adding spins and grabs, or refining your inverts and competition runs. The focus is on progression, participation, community and enjoying your riding.
