Where-to-go

The biggest question we get is where can we go to Water Ski, Wakeboard, Wakesurf, Kneeboard or Tube in or around the ACT.

Molonglo River, ACT

The Molonglo River is strictly controlled by the ACT Government. In days gone by the Molonglo was a recreational water ski area that extended for several kilometers up the Molonglo river. Due to storm damage, it is now restricted to a short 700m section of water. Both Wakeboard ACT and Water Ski ACT have limited use permits to use the water for tournaments and tournament training only.

All lakes and rivers within the ACT are tightly controlled, recreational towed water sports are not permitted.
